BIO: Dayve Black
On May 11, 1971,
Dayve was born in Vero Beach, Fl. He was raised in Fort
Pierce, a small town just south of Vero Beach. He was an
average student until high school. After gaining his diploma,
the future seemed uncertain. Shortly afterwards, he left
Florida to travel the United States.
The loss of his
beloved cousin sent him into a dark downward spiral. Dayve
joined a government program known as Job Corps. There he met
Susanne Woodard, an instructor in the business / clerical
class. She was the first to see the potential in Dayve.
During his stint in
Job Corps, he won a scholarship to a Job Corps center in Saint Louis,
Mo, where he attended Flo Valley Community College. There, a
professor named Jim Mense was the second person to push Dayve to
further his writing skills.
Dayve was still
crushed by the loss of his precious family member, and it was years
before he could climb out of his emotional abyss. With the
help of his family, Dayve returned to writing and dedicated himself to
finishing his first novel. He does not believe in being
labeled under one genre. He has several, multi-styled books
in the works. So thanks for believing in free speech!
